Because the UFC is just a promotion. MMA is a sport.
Give your answer to this question below!
because the Martial Arts section covers more than just MMA the sports page only covers MMA promotions, more often the UFC, which to the casual sports page reader is synonymous with MMA so they make easier to identify there
they don’t only talk about ufc.they talk about other organizations in there too.they should change the ufc back to mma is more like it
This has been brought up a lot here. Y/A does not have any plans to divide the martial arts section in any way. They have made that clear. They say that the MA section is very small compared to some sections of Y/A. End of story.
because ufc is a promotion. mixed martial arts is a branch of martial arts:)
Because if we did that, the only questions that would be asked would be.
Where can I watch (insert UFC event here) for free online.
Who would win? (Insert two UFC fighter’s names here, separated by an “or”)
Are there any MMA gyms in (insert city and state and if necessary country here)?
Because the Martial Arts section covers MARTIAL ARTS …NOT just MMA but all martial arts
