Question by dmac5: How is Lady GaGa “super talented”?
I really hate lady gaga but im not gonna bash her im just curious how she is “super talented”, aside from singing (which i really dont think she can do). What I define as super talented is Taylor Swift. She writes/co-writes all her songs, has a beautiful voice, she can play piano and guitar, she designed her tour bus and the stages in her concerts, she can act, she is funny, shes hot, and shes really nice.

I totally agree with you about Taylor Swift. All her songs are smartly written, but Lady Gaga is also talented. She is just very different then Taylor. Lady Gaga writes her music and designs all her outfits. Her music doesn’t sound quite like others and her concerts are very very different then others also. She is just unusual and originality is good!
Lady GaGa is super talented because she can sing well, has an edge to her taste in fashion and isn’t afraid to take risks. She’s a pioneer. Taylor Swift is super talented too, just in her own different genre

I don’t mean to offend you in any way, but I went to Taylor Swift’s Fearless show last month, and although she doesn’t sound horrible, she doesn’t have much vocal talent. Take the Grammys for example, GaGa’s opening with Elton was amazing, Beyonce’s act was amazing, Pinks was amazing but Taylor’s, as said by many others, was a let down. Her concert is quite boring and her personality is quite plant in my opinion, for the whole show she was blabbing on about how many boyfriends have cheated on her. Which brings me to her songwriting, although it’s fantastic she writes her own songs (GaGa writes her own too, by the way) most of her songs have a repeated theme – Teenage Love Stories and don’t include very much for the audience to think about i.e. no hidden meaning, where GaGa’s videos and songs usually have a deeper, darker meaning to them. Also, Taylor seems quite fake, I’m not sure if I can say that without meeting her, but one of her limo drivers said that she said to him that she had to fire 5 other drivers beforehand, which is not very ‘nice’. Her voice is nothing special compared to other artists, if you actually listen to GaGa live or accoustic,she has a strong, beautiful vocal range, unlike Taylor’s which is basically all the same. GaGa can also play piano, she’s been playing since the age of 4. In terms of creativity, it’s pretty obvious that GaGa is more creative in writing and fashion. I don’t see how being hot or funny has anything to do with being talented, but Taylor seems pretty boring to me – feel free to prove me wrong on that one. I’m not trying to offend Taylor – if I didn’t like her I obviously wouldn’t pay to go to her show – I’m just trying to answer your question

I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT but Lady GaGa IS super talented. Taylor doesn’t have a very strong voice once you take away all the pop country music, whereas Lady GaGa does once you take away all the pop dance music, Lady GaGa also writes or co-writes all of her own songs and they have deep meanings. For example “Dance In The Dark” just sounds like a party song about dancing but if you really study the lyrics you’ll realize that the song is actually about unhealthy body image. Lady GaGa can also play the piano just as well as Taylor Swift, if not, better. What makes you think Lady GaGa didn’t design her tour bus and stages in her concerts or that Lady GaGa wouldn’t be able to act if she had been given the chance? Have you met Taylor Swift? If you haven’t, how do you know what she’s really like in real life? How do you know if she’s funny or nice? How do you know if Lady GaGa isn’t? Taylor Swift is naturally beautiful but hot? No. Whereas if you look at earlier pictures of Lady GaGa when she was just starting out and she was just called Stefani and she had dark brown hair and actually looked really normal and girly and pretty, you’d see Lady GaGa’s actually really hot. Plus, Lady GaGa has people hating her because she’s “weird” and “is really a man” or “a hermaphrodite”. When there’s nothing wrong with being different, and there’s been no proof whatsoever that she’s a man or a hermaphrodite. But do you think Lady GaGa let’s this get her down? No. She doesn’t care about what other people think of her, and personally, I find that very inspiring. Now, don’t get me wrong because as I first said: I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT but Lady GaGa IS super talented.
excuse me cranky cancerian its not RAMA. Its ROMA. In my opinion, lady gaga is more talented and entertaining than taylor swift. Lady gaga sing,dance,compose and even play the piano. And many artist like beyonce, katy perry, hayley williams and rihanna admire her.
Lady Gaga is very talented. She writes her songs, designs some of her clothes, does not lip synch, sing and dance live without sounding crappy (singing and dancing is hard, that’s why some singers lip synchs in their performances) and is great in the piano. Don’t believe me? Watch Speechless in Youtube. She has a great voice, although it is not very well known to us because her songs are autotuned. For me, those autotuned songs is a waste of her talent. People will tell that she is untalented because they only hear the studio versions of her songs, wherein her voice is computer generated:

I too was shocked when I saw performances like this. Lady Gaga has been playing the piano since she was young. She was admitted in Julliard (performance arts school) at the age of 11, only the most talented are accepted there, although she refused. I think Taylor was not qualified to study there.
I believe Taylor Swift is talented, too. Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are two of my favorite singers/ artists.
