No, they are comparing her popularity and sense of shock value to Madonna’s during the same stage in their careers.
Maybe because of similarities of being gay icons and having pop music hits.
To me- Gaga > Madonna
Well… I don’t think, there is jealousy… At all.
I think it’s quite shoking, actually. Because, some people called Lady GaGa ‘The New Madonna’, when she’s just basically recycling everything Madonna has done in the past and she’s not a good artist, at all.
Because like Madonna, Lady Gaga use the “shock value”
to draw attention to the themselves. But remember ALL
entertainers draw attention to themselves
Because she has the same type of image and does a lot of the same stuff that Madonna used to do back in the day!
The only reason why Madonna has been able to last as long as she has is because of her continuing ability to reinvent herself.They don’t call Madonna”the mistress of reinvention”for nothing!
I mean do you really think Madonna would still be around if she was still dressing and acting the way she did from 1983 to 1985?
The question for Lady Gaga is what will she do when her dress and image fall out of fashion?
Will she be able to reinvent herself the way Madonna has?
That will be the ultimate test of GaGa’s staying power!
