“”Another interesting takeway from Droid X launch, was the total absence of Motorola Blur custom user interface from the event. When asked about it, Sanjay Jha, Motorola CEO, confirmed that MotoBlur is running on Droid X, but it has been hidden from the user.”"
see http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/06/25/droid-x-launch-bits-pt2-motoblur-as-we-knew-it-is-dead-beginning-of-the-for-custom-uis/ for more details… It looks like Andriod is evolving to a point were Motoblue and Ninjablur and other UIs will not be needed… Anyways, Andriod is still a “baby” when it comes to mobile OS… so, in the future, UIs for Andriod OS may become obsolete.. cause the driod will be 1 massive UI… hmmmmmmmmmmm…. very interesting

It doesn’t run Motoblur.
It will be compatible with 3.0 when it gets released later this year.
It does not run Blur- it runs a custom Motorola interface on top of Android, but it is not quite like Blur is.. It will be able to support Gingerbread, but that will not be out until next year- Froyo just came out, so it will be a while before Gingerbread is released. The phone has the hardware to support it, but ultimately it will be up to Motorola if they want to release it for the X. It also takes longer to be released for phones that have other interfaces, because Gingerbread has to be re-done and modified to work with Motorola’s skin.
