They need to bring back The Gong Show. But yes, a gong would be freakin’ hilarious. Imagine the look on the contestants hen there in the middle of a song and Simon, Randy and whoever are all fighting over the who gets to gong them. My wife would be pissed though. She loves that show.
Yes, have a trap door that they fall through….or a big hook that pulls them off the stage.

that’s SUCH a good idea. OMG. lol!! let’s all pitch this to fox… it would definitely add some much needed comic relief to this season. have you noticed that this season, (maybe it’s just cause it’s a small arena where the singers are singing) but like..it’s always dead silent there.. it seems like the audience doesn’t even care that much..

Some of them are pretty funny, but, I mean, when they’re that bad, they’ve got to know! They could use the gong for the ones that are truly deserving of it. If they refuse to leave the stage, then they should send two bouncer type guys in white coats and an over-sized butterfly net to catch them. Guess it wouldn’t be pc, but it’d be entertaining!
LOL at Magic 8 Ball and Veritas – I thought of that, too! I like the ideas of those old cartoons with the big cane or the trap door.
It would be better if the show added a bong or a dong. Tell your wife that.
